Suggested Improvements:

- I hope that SI Games can incorporate the use of software such as Prozone, Opta, Wyscout and Scout 7 etc to get a more accurate reflection of players attributes (especially youth players) and that youth players attributes will be more accurate in future with generally higher technical attributes and lower mental and physical stats that will improve with age and experience.

- Opta and Prozone stats and show that 14% of Premier League goals are scored from corners and that the majority of the goals scored from corners are inswinging corners to the near post. I hope that FM20 will include this type of statistical data in the matchplay to make it more realistic;

- Instead of training for months to add or remove preferred moves, I think that it would be better if managers were able to give individual instructions such as run with the ball often or shoot from distance etc.

- In general some of the attributes for EFL players are very low, in particular for technique, first touch, decisions and determination. In real life, if players in League 1 and League 2 had a rating for these attributes of less than 6, they would likely not be playing for clubs in the EFL and would be at a lower level;

- There should be more hidden gems in non-league and more non league players on FM20 that are capable of playing at a higher level and with higher potential ratings;

- Senior players should be more consistent, whereas young players should generally be more inconsistent;

-Some friendly and reserve games offer poor match viewing experience when the floodlights and other obstacles are in the way of the highlights when the camera in the Director camera angle;

- Players should respond quicker to being trained in a new position and role, especially younger players.

- A sustained run of successful results, good performances/attractive football and promotions should have a bigger impact on attendances at EFL Clubs. A sustained run of poor results and relegation should also negatively impact upon attendances for certain clubs.

- More consideration should be given to the size of the city and history of the club when determining the stature/ranking of the club. For example, Coventry is the 9th biggest city in England and was in the top flight for 34 years before being relegated from the Premier League. In the 2 recent Wembley appearances they have taken more than 40,000 fans and this should be adequately reflected on attendances if the club gets promoted etc.

- Scouting reports should be more in depth and also include a player´s injury history , international youth appearances and references to the players character, consistency and footballing intelligence. A Prozone style analysis would also be beneficial such as average sprint speed, average distance covered, pass completion. For example, the Ajax Scouting model is based on the TIPS system: Technique, Intelligence, Personality (Character), Speed.

Liverpool use the reverse of this because, speed and character are unlikely to change whereas football intelligence (decisions, positioning etc) and technique can be improved with coaching.

- Scouts should provide more detailed analysis of the opposition´s tactics, strengths and weaknesses (in possession, without possession and in transition). Opposition reports would also be improved by showing an analysis of the oppositions set pieces routines and commenting on the form, suspensions and injuries of opposition players.

- The assistant manager should provide more regular and detailed analysis of individual performances and tactics (inc. opposition tactics and performance) during games.
