How do I do this (FMT18)

So far I've posted a couple of questions in the Beta feedback thread. Both of which have been kindly answered. Instead of posting another one in there, i thought I'd make a thread for people like me, who cant find how to do something in FMT18.

To get the ball rolling:

How do you get a player to come to your club early, after signing him on a pre-contact? 

I've just signed a cracking striker who had 6 months left on his contact. However, it would be amazing if I could get him this season instead, has I push for promotion with BK Forward in Sweden. I'm sure i've done it in the past for a small fee.

There's usually a 'Buy Now' option when the news comes up that the deal is finalised.  However, this is only available if a. you have the money and b. you are in a transfer window
