Santa Claus Posted August 25, 2013 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I'm thinking of starting a save in Italy, my first in FM 13. However, I have a couple of questions before I actually start: 1. Where do clubs in Italy get their money from? I checked and there is no prize money for league position. How about TV rights? How much money is there from TV and is it shared equally like in England or top clubs get more, like in Spain? How about sponsorship? It's impossible that they can raise money only from selling players and playing in Champions League?! 2. I can't help but notice that almost every club in Serie A has serious debts to pay. However, only handful of clubs in Serie B is in debt, others' finances are healthy. So is it maybe better to start in Serie B without debt and go from there? Or when you get promoted to Serie A you'll go in red regardlessly due to larger expenditures but same income? Thanks. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
