Since the forums were closed down i've been at 3 different clubs on the same save! haha. Rite now to my problem. I have a not bad Arsenal side. At the start of the season the bored gave me £137m to spend on players. And i'm now down to £35m (having just sold Armand Traore for £22m). It ain't the transfer window but could i improve?? Btw 2014. Here's my squad. GK - Hugo Lloris (ace keeper - pulls of some breathtaking saves) DR - Marvin Angulo (brilliant win-back - very good crossing) DL - Gael Clichy (same as Marvin Angulo except faster) DC - Phillipe Senderos (only on the park cos Toure's too old) DC - Mamadou Sakho (fantastic leader - captain of my Arsenal and France team) MC - Denilson (good playmaker) MC- Cesc Fabregas (what can i say? pure amazing) AMR - Hatem Ben Arfa (skilful winger who is very versitile) AML - Carlos Vela (very good, consitant winger) AMC - Sergio Aguero (absolutey phenomenal!) ST - Pato (prolific goalscorer - very skilful) S1 - Lukasz Fabianski (turned out quite well) S2 - Bakary Sagna (versitile right-back) S3 - Sunny (protects the defence well) S4 - Val (ace Brazilian regen but a wee bit too young just now) S5 - Robin van Persie (getting older but good backup winger) S6 - Emmanuel Adebayor (good target man) S7 - Lodewijk Kessels (Dutch regen striker - looking good for the future) Others - Gavin Hoyte Kyle Bartley Kolo Toure Lassana Diarra Rui Fonte Mario Balotelli Nicklas Bendtner Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
elsybelsy Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 Do you still have Nordveit? If so, replace Senderos with him. He is world class. I would also say to replace Denilson. In my experience he is a great back-up for cesc but not first team. I would suggest getting Javi Martinez. I would also say that Ben Arfa could be replaced but as you only have £35M you won't find a good enough replacment. The rest looks good but try and get a better back-up keeper.
