On my new save, in the 2nd season, I signed Mark van Bommel, Patrick Vieira, David Abelda, Simone Perrotta, Kevin Phillips, and Filippo Inzaghi, and Sol Campbell most on free transfers. Do I need them in my first team? Not really. I just dump them in my Reserves. Why then did I sign these guys? Well, they've become my tutoring think tank. Their whole existence revolves around tutoring my young stars. There's been a bit of a mixed results right now. Some of my youngsters simply didn't get along with their tutors But those that do, seem to have really learned a lot. Anyone else does this? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
ZdlR Posted March 30, 2011 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Tried it once when tutoring was first introduced but, as far as I know, you have to give these old heads some first team action in order to let them tutor or for it to be successful.
