Players complaining about playing at a lower tempo in a national team

I'm both club and nation manager, and I use exactly the same tactic on both team.

And during international matches, the assman kept saying the players are used to playing at a lower tempo than asked to today and those players are always my own players at the club....

And these players are already playing in my club for a couple of seasons already, so I don't really understand it... I have a very high tempo in the tactic but if anyone who can't play high tempo, shouldn't that be the players from other clubs??
