FM2011 Traffic Lights [skin/mod]

This skin changes the attributes in the personal profile to the colours of traffic lights:

Green for excellent attributes

Yellow for normal attributes

Red for low attributes

If you open the archive you see 3 different things: 2 folders and a Readme.

The Readme is just saying the same things below, so if you link my file anywhere else any other person can understand

what to do without the need of being registered here in SI forums (well, I recommend everybody to register to the SI-Forums nevertheless).

a) Using this for FM2011-Standard-Skin

Extract (not empty! just leave all the files within this folder) the folder to:

*FM-UDF*\skins\

Start FM, go to Preferences, choose the skin "Traffic Lights (bright)". Changes will be applied immediately.

Or choose: Traffic Lights (Dark) for applying it to the dark Standard skin

b) Using it within another skin/modification or personalised skin

Copy the following lines

<colour name="low attribute" red="230" green="35" blue="30"/>

<colour name="normal attribute" red="230" green="35" blue="30"/>

<colour name="good attribute" red="250" green="195" blue="0"/>

<colour name="excellent attribute" red="7" green="191" blue="10"/>

to an existing *skinname* settings.xml. Attention! You have to overwrite these colour-lines, if they alread exist in this settings-file.

You can find this specific settings.xml here:

*FM-UDF*\skins\*yourskinname*\panels

(if your skin has no panels-folder, create one!)

Start FM and go to the Preferences screen before unticking 'use skin cache', ticking 'reload skin on confirm' then clicking confirm.

--- Where can I find my *FM-UDF*? ---

Win Vista/Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\

Win 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\

Win 98/ME: C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\

Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2011/

Or the Demo-destination (works the same, you will find it...)

This folder appears right after starting FM11 one time!

You can also change this location of your UDF within the FM11-options.

--- Notes ---

If you want to, you can change the colours to every combination you like. Just check out the lines at point b from the Installation and visit websites like this for RGB-colour codes:
