ddz2005
Hi. Really need some help. Downloaded unzipped etc a superpack, and usually i'd stick them into correct folders then go to prefrences to get them working but when i go to prefences it crashes. Am using the net book skin which works a treat. On FM09, can i do it manually through editor??? I want some pics!
michaeltmurrayuk
If you have a look in: W7/Vista: C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings\Version 1003 XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings (You'll need to enable hidden files from the folder options) There should be a file called cache_xml.xml if you open this with notepad change the word true to false and that should turn the skin cache off and allow the game to load your graphics. Alternatively deleting the cache files from: C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\cache Should also allow the game to load your graphics, though you'd need to do this option each time you wanted to add something new.
