Simon1976000
Just started a new game as Northern Ireland manager and I've never managed an international team before. Can I pick players for inclusion in the U21 & U19's? I do have managers for these teams. I have a couple of 16/17 yr old's who aren't in these squads but I would like them to be in one or the other. Bowser_FMF
Yeah, as international manager, you can freely nick players from your U23, 21s etc... Best thing was when I was Englands U21 manager, I nicked players who were within age limit from the main team and they didnt do anything about it ^^
The Lambs
If I understand the question correctly, you want your young players to be included in the international youth teams when you are the manager of the main squad. The answer is no, the manager of the youth team (be it U21 or U19) picks who he plays. The most influence you can have is to add the players to the national pool and hop he picks them. You can also remove players from the national pool, so you can increase their chance of an international match by removing some of the poorer players from the national pool.
