So his contract ran out, then I went back and re-signed him straight away for £15k a week!! Anyone else experience this? a good way of getting the wage bill down!! Go0n3r Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 I did that with sol campbell. He was gettin paid 50k and now gets about 8. Also when fernando torres wouldnt accept my max wage when he was out of contract. No one would sign him and he eventually lowered his asking wage. It's a bit unrealistic though (one of the most unrealistic about this game) that these quality players go out of contract and no-one signs them. When i look on the transfer market for expiring contracts on january 1st, noone wanted to sign fernando torres and hes now with my team(Werder Bremen<--rulez!!!) and scores alot. What i find a bit unrealistic is the fact that world class players like ronaldinho will join any club if they could pay their wages... I got Ronaldinho with me and i think its pretty unrealistic...
