can't make more than 3 subs per match

You have to make the subs in a maximum of 3 stoppages - so if you are making 1 sub, then 1 sub, then 1 sub that’s your 3 stoppages. This is the rule. 

You could do;

2 + 2 + 1

3 + 1 + 1

5 

etc

Half time subs won’t count as a stoppage.
