Sold a player to the MLS for £750k in January 2024 (he signed a designated player contract as well) and I see just two months later in March 2024 that he's cleared the waivers. A lot of good players seem to suffer the same fate - they are sold to the MLS for transfer fees and then months later are released. I take it this is a bug.
Similarly, one of my players agreed to move to San Jose Earthquakes on a free transfer in July 2023 but on the date of the actual move, the deal got cancelled and he became a non-contracted player for my club.
