Trying to purchase a player for the end of the current season. Player has a minimum release fee of £74m with an expiration date of 1/9/2028 which if I meet now, is accepted. However, if I change the transfer date from "Next Available" to "End of Season 2026/27" the fee is not recognised as being activated even though it is still valid and not expired. This doesn't make a lot of sense given the fee would still be the same and the club get the benefit of the player for another season.
