Similar to the issue in the Serie A, unlike in previous seasons players don't seem to have the "Can Play Against Parent Club" Loan Clause hardcoded anymore, thus resulting in them not being able to play against their parent club @Michael Sant
Whilst this is common in England, it does not apply to Germany (or Italy, or The Netherlands).
The Eredivisie has the same issue, and I assume a few more have it as well.
