  • Analyst assignment bug in "Recuitment Focus".

I'm here to talk about the role of the "Analyst" and the separation of duties of each type of analyst. To show the inconsistency, let's go to the "Recuitment Focus".

When I create a "Recuitment Focus", I am forced to assign an analyst to that "Recuitment Focus". This is already a concern, because if I don't choose it myself, my hiring manager will automatically assign one and the same analyst for all the "Recuitment Focus" I create... This would lead to an overload of work for the analysts and therefore a considerable delay in the effectiveness of the "Recuitment Focus". I don't understand at all why an analyst MUST be assigned to a "Recuitment Focus". We are talking about scouting here, not stats analysis. When I do "Recuitment Focus", I do it to find out the attributes of the players in play. The analyst should be an option, not a requirement.

So to avoid overloading my analysts, I will choose an analyst myself who I think is a recruiting analyst. Here is the screen.

You can see on the screen that my mouse stops on Chris Markham. Chris is not only not a "recruitment analyst" but he is not even hired for my first team... He's an "U19 Performance Analyst".

Which brings me to the next question: Why would a "U19 performance analyst" be sent to Brazil to analyze players when I have "recruitment analysts" who are paid to do so?
Isn't the U19 analyst supposed to analyse MY U19 league or even analyse the performance of MY U19 in my tactics? Why is there a separation between different analysts if I can give them the same task?

However, a performance analyst can't analyse my league as a whole because you can see on the following screen that when I go to the data hub, only the performance analysts are in charge of giving me their information. It would surely be wise to do the same for the recruitment and really define the role of each position within the club.

To conclude, I think it would be normal for each profession to have specific tasks. It is not normal to be able to assign a performance analyst to a "recruitment focus". Just as it would not be normal for a recruitment analyst to analyse the performance of my players.
