  • Low FPS at Night Matches

    Hi all. I’ve recently bought a 32 inch 4k monitor to use with my laptop/PS5. I’ve plugged it in and all runs fine but I’m having some issues with FM23. The game itself runs smoothly (it’s a decent gaming laptop with 5 star graphics - can run on Very High graphics settings through the laptop screen) but I’m getting lower FPS in matches. If I drop the graphics to Medium it runs at a smooth 60fps for day matches but I’m getting a drop for matches (approx. 40-50fps). I understand that running in 4k is more demanding of hardware so my question is what can I tweak on FM to maximise performance without compromising image quality too much?

    Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I’ve followed the advice given and it does seem to have improved things to a point where the matches run smoothly.
