Copa del Rey squad rules

Hey Poneglyph, really sorry you haven't had a response yet. Seems we've missed this when dealing with other issues and I can only apologise.

If you're still around, do you have a source for that rule? If so I'll flag it to the comps team asap and we'll see about getting a solution. 

Still around! The rules for cup tournaments published by RFEF say that teams must keep on the pitch at least seven players from the team's first squad:

2. Para poder comenzar un partido cada uno de los equipos deberá comparecer y mantener durante todo el desarrollo de este al menos siete
jugadores pertenecientes a la plantilla de la categoría en la que milita el equipo.

 

The first and second division rules further specify that this rule means that only four players from B and youth teams can be on the pitch at any given time.
