  • FAI Cup Final (Senior Challenge Cup) wrong date and Champions Cup no longer exists

    In game the Cup Final was originally going to be played on the 22nd of November (a Tuesday), in real life it is being played on the  Sunday 13th of November 3pm.  Because of this date being wrong, winning the league and qualifying for the Champions Cup causes the final to be moved to 30th of November.

    Not sure if this is worth mentioning because I'm pretty sure that the game should sort this issue by itself if the date is moved, but on the date of the real final 2 of my players are on U21 international duty.

    The Champions Cup no longer exists (https://www.unitetheunion.org/news-events/news/2022/may/unite-the-union-champions-cup-2021-called-off/) so should be removed, see quote from League of Ireland Director Mark Scanlon, "we have had to make the difficult decision to phase out the tournament".

    Thanks again for your feedback.

    It is regrettable, but I have to admit that we have made an oversight with the Champions Cup and the request to remove it was made too late in the day to incorporate its removal for the release of the game unfortunately. Myself and the Northern Irish researcher were under the impression that the competition was being revived in 2023.

    I have since started a ticket and requested for our competition devs to remove the Champions Cup from the game and they're hopeful of looking at that in upcoming patches.
