Yes, it´s indeed possible to fix in the pre-game editor  
I have a fix on the Steam Workshop called "Danish League Rule Fixes", which includes a fix for this as well (No official support. Just figured it would be easier for you, than doing it yourself)

This is one we are aware of, and we are looking into it.
