  • Game closing before it gets to the main menu

    Windows 11, Steam, game has worked previously with no issues. 

    Open the game with Steam, it starts as normal going through the splash screens. Gets to the 2nd license screen (the one with the text after the logos) before just closing. No crash dump is generated, no abnormal system behaviour. 

    Clearing the cache has fixed it but clearly, it shouldn't be crashing to begin with. Uploaded my DXDiag for analysis.

    Looks like I can't escape the crash after all. Got all the way through setting up a new game, past the introduction, went to save for the first time and the game just closed, exactly as it was doing before. No crash dump is generated.
