  • "Play youth players" promise failing despite generous rotation of 17-21 year old players?

    I was surprised when I saw this promise failing because it's one I always make and always succeed. Developing young players is one of my favourite things to do in the game. The only reason I can think of for this failing is I used the better XI squad in the last few weeks of the season so I could go into the cup final with a fit squad, but that shouldn't fail the promise because I feel the players should have noticed there was plenty of youth in the squad over the year.

    Only offer promises for things that have a defined criteria for success;

    Will loan out
    will make captain
    will win this league

    Anything that is subjective like will play in a particular role etc... are too subjective and some times they just bug out. The only one I will accept is will improve coaching as this almost always means just sign one new coach.
