So Newcastle signed Loris Karius on 12th September on a free transfer for 6 months until January 2023. It was noted in pre-season that he may likely not get a work permit when his contract expires but not to take any action as he just signed a contract.
Now after the first game of the season, he wants to discuss personal matters as he is worried about his work permit - the only options I have to select is:
- agree to terminate contract
- (promise) look to transfer him to another club
- (promise) look to loan him out to another club
- (promise) look to accept any transfer bid for him - this one I selected as I dont want him to leave until his contrat is up but dont have any options to keep him.
This appears to be a bug as he was brought in as a short term goalkeeping cover but wanting to leave after the first game of the season is not right.
