  • Players shown as ineligible in Team News Screen, but not in squad list.

    Content - I'm not sure if this is an editor bug, USA bug or general bug.

    I have an editor file which expands the USA down to the college NCAA system. I have set NCAA teams as U23. In FM22 everything worked fine, but in FM23 I noticed the AI managers are not playing their best players. Upon further inspection, it appears in the Team News screen on the fixtures list that a larger number of players, a dozen or so, are listed as ineligible for every NCAA team, with no reason given.

    In the squad list, no icon appears by their names.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE
    - Load up 'paulgerty_ineligible_USA' save game on SI cloud.
    - Navigate to any NCAA team, e.g. "Yale University Bulldogs".

    Untitled-1.png.642e53d44c9ce98b47319d8926f93c34.png- Check their next fixture and both teams have multiple players listed as ineligible.

    -Take over the team and the human manager can play any player.

     

    I have tried different squad registration options and issue remains.

    I have also uploaded the editor file "paulgerty_ineligible_USA".

    Thank you. Just to add, I noticed the issue also exists with another editor file, completely separate from my own.

     

    Upon further investigation, the issue seems to affect teams which have a maximum age set. I also checked some teams in a Canadian file with maximum age of 21, and despite being under the limit, AI managers are not playing them.
