This issue has been around for many years and I've never bothered to report before. But basically its common place that when managing a national team, the youngest of the youth national teams the AI manager selects a team without positional balance. The way this is manifesting in my current game is that my u19 national team initially, and now my u18 national team since it appeared (u19 now working correctly), selects a squad with 1 or 0 midfielders. There are hundreds of u18 midfielders from my nation loaded, so I dont think tis an issue of lack of players.
Same bug has been in the game for at least 6-7 years (I only play international manager so I see it every year).
