trouble with screens with more than 60hz

I have the same problem, 165Hz and it's flickers. Hope they fix it because it's really annoying

i've started to play window mode 

it is sad to play like this

@zatinho & @Igniii we've had some people getting success by doing the following: 

Try launching the game with the command line below added and see if it does anything for you, we made a change which should for most people improve performance but its possible with certain graphics cards/drivers it could make things worse in theory.

--disable_flip_discard

at first seemed to be fixed.. but within minutes it comes back.. :(..

more info: my screen is also 1440p (2k)

Hi @Michael Sant, @zatinho I tried to do the --disable_flip_discard thing with the icon on the desktop but I couldn't do it, the box was read only (maybe because I'm on gamepass?). I tried to create a new shotcut from the FM23.exe on the desktop and then I wrote the --disable_flip_discard there. Now it's working, even If I restart the computer. If I open the game with the usual shortcut doesn't work. has to be with this new one and with the --disable_flip_discard thing there.  Hope this work four you too @zatinhoAnd thank you very much Michael. Hope it can be fixed with a update or something hahah. 

Hello everyone, 

I am using a 144hz monitor, Freesync. I have the same issue. When i mouse over whatever in the menu of the game, the screen flickers. Pretty annoying since every actions create this issue. 

For now the "  --disable_flip_discard " fix is working, i only tried for a few minutes. 

Very much hopping that it will be fixed in a quick update

" --disable_flip_discard " not working for me , tried what ignii said, but no luck for me.

 

also hope there will be a hotfix soon

@zatinhoTry adding --disable_flip_discard in Steam under start options. Maybe it will work.

Right click on Football Manger 23 in your Steam library -> Properties -> General & add it to the launch options.

and the graphics card then becomes loud again und again

no problems with other games, also with the fm22, for example.

Did you try what I posted above? With that, the FPS won't go up on my System ^^

only had "disable_flipd_discard" instead  "--disbale_flip_discard"

now it seems to work
