Value for money achievement does not work (Xbox Edition)

currently 10 years in and its tracking for me, will have to wait and see

Interesting. I may run it over the weekend and see what happens. 30 seasons is a lot.

EDIT: Actually, I did run it in one sitting on this edition, twice. I think it will voided if you go on holiday for even a day, which is a joke.

i was thinking you could stay unemployed and set continue timeout to instant and it'll just keep going but it'll stop when you get a job offer

That's what I've been doing since last night. Not so bad but England keep wanting to give me a job, despite zero exp as a player or manager lol. I took it and resigned, but they keep coming back haha. I've got about 16 seasons done so far, most done whilst asleep. I'm not at home but think it has stopped on my console, so I'll get it later tonight.

Got to 96%, game ended at 30 seasons. No achievement. In game tracker says 29/30. All done in one sitting, never exited the game.

I just the same achievement on the Windows version. I think the problem is that this edition is limited to 30 seasons, but I think the achievement is looking at the day counter, which falls short of 10,950 (30 years). Going from 2021 to 2051 is 7 leap years, so I presume it is looking 10,957?

On the Windows version, I was unemployed the whole time. 0 holiday days. Unlocked.

On XE, I was unemploted the whole time. 0 holiday days. Did not unlock.

Replayed the final season, as employed. Still no luck.

I've now set up a game starting in Finland 12/6/20. I am hoping that the end date is the same date in July 2051, thus unlocking the achievement if the day counter is what triggers this.

What's frustrating is that we get broken achievements every year. I emailed them about this year and last year and offered to test it all before the release, to avoid further damage to their reputation with the achievemnt community. I love the series, my favourite and it hurts to see this situation every year. Looks like Windows version will work fine though, just one more achievement left.

i dont recall any achievement bugs from last year. got all of them no problem. this year's has been underwhelming plus a couple new UI glitches too. such a poor decision to scrap FMT for this

Last year, Shrwed Spender needed patching. Set Piece Specialist is buggy, and is again this year.

On the PC version, 200 Club needed patching.

i had no problem with shrwed in either year. for set piece you need to create individual routines for all of them and save them individually, i saved all of them as one which didn't work

Shrewd did not unlock for anyone until the patch in January, so maybe you played the game later than the release date.

For set piece, I know how to get it to unlock, but that is not what the description says. It says to create. This year, I only saved one after creating them all and it unlocked. Still a bit buggy. It has never been labelled as create and save.

OK. So I staretd a Finland game on 16th Dec 2020, the earliest the game can start. 30 Seasons came to an end of 14th Dec 2050, at 00:00. The Value for Money tracker in-game says 29/30 and I have been monitoring it. Progress went up the 15th each year. That seems to be the problem. Xbox app says 96%.

This needs fixing, I don't know what else to try,

I've tested it starting in the Danish league with other European leagues such as the Prem loaded. Got to 10.953 days, and no achievement.

I am sure it is coded to 10,957, like on Windows.
