  • Player signs for another team on end of contract even though I have a contract extension in his contract

    - Playing as Apollon Pontou and Panathinaikos have offered a contract to Panagiotis Alexiou in January because his contract was expiring. I had a contract extension on promotion clause in his contract but unlike the rest of my players whose clauses activated after promotion on the 21st of May, his clause did not activate and his transfer will go through. Shouldn't the clause activate and cancel the transfer or even better shouldn't players with such clauses not be allowed to be signed on a free before the end of the season?

     

    Steps to Reproduce

    - I have uploaded a save game called "Apollon Pontou promotion contracts.fm" on the 22nd of May after the clauses were activated and one called "Apollon Pontou before promotion.fm" on the 20th before the promotion game

    -After winning the playoff game on the 21st the clauses for promotion trigger but not for Panagiotis Alexiou

    Afraid this is working as intended, it's the players choice to sign a deal with another club ahead of any promotions/clauses.
