Apologies if wrong forum. Playing as Liverpool in first game in Papa John's Trophy using predominately u23 squad players. These players already have assigned squad numbers. I chose one u18 player who didn't have a squad number for the game. Told to assign number. Sent to next page which stated that players don't need to be assigned a number for this competition. But then no way of progressing the game and playing the match - pressing the Briefing button with no effect.
I re-started and changed the non-squad numbered player to a u23 player with a squad number and was able to play the game. I unfortunately don't have a save game now.
