  • Clear red card not given (Kicked from behind when clean on goal)

    The striker is on the ball and free on goal but gets kicked down from behind. It's a professional foul to deny an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

    As far as I know the rules of football, there is no way it can be penalty and yellow card here. It's either nothing or a red card and penalty. In this case it is a clear penalty and therefore also a clear red card.

    The defender wasn't sent off in this instance due to the double jeopardy rule, whereby if the defender gives away a penalty then a red card isn't given in addition.
