Player failed work permit at contract renewal, unable to reapply for work permit

my understanding is you have to wait 120 days between applying for work permits. Did it let you appeal?

Yes, the appeal failed, but it’s been more than 120 days and I still can’t do anything in terms of Frauendorf’s contract/work permit. In previous games, if you were renewing a contract for a player and they couldn’t get a work permit, I believe you had two options - extend the contract anyway and apply for a work permit at a later date, or cancel the contract renewal. In this case, I cancelled the contract renewal, but the game doesn’t seem to have registered that. I can’t make another contract offer or reapply for a work permit, I can only either keep him on a rolling contract with no work permit, or release him.
