I'm pretty sure I reported this issue on FM23, but it's happened again.
Immediately after my Roma team conceded a penalty against Empoli, I substituted Smalling and brought on Kumbulla at centre-back. Before the penalty, Kumbulla 'spawns' onto the goal line and runs across the penalty area, though he just about makes it outside before Baldanzi takes the penalty for Empoli.
Kumbulla should start off outside the penalty area before the spot-kick is taken.
