When a team has a direct free-kick whilst playing with Director cam, the view automatically goes to behind the taker, which is just annoying to be honest. It's often hard to track the ball, especially if it doesn't go in the goal.
Anyway, sometimes if the ball hits a post or is blocked etc, the cameras don't switch back quick enough and a goal or something gets missed, or the camera stays put and you miss key action altogether.
My advice for what it's worth? Dump that view altogether. I noted SI did so with the 'behind the corner taker' angle which was pointless, and this is too. If watching on TV in real life you just see a free-kick taken from the main camera so go with that in the game like it is on 'TV mode' surely?
