  • Player retiring from Football, during the World Cup

    Seems like a massive International bug here. Phil Foden decides to retire from football, in the middle of a World Cup. Just before the last 16 match, seems illogical and I can't replace him.

    I know this sort of thing probably won't be patched before FM25, but could there be some kind of overhaul of International Management going forward please. It's full of annoying little errors like this and isn't fulfilling apart from trying to tick off achievements.

    I don't I'm afraid, I've cranked through several months since then. 

    What's bizarre is that I had 2 other players pre announce their retirement for after the World Cup, which is great. Fodens retirement came completely out of the blue, he was still under contract at his club, albeit in Saudi Arabia, and there hadn't even been rumours of it.

    Can't be helped now but maybe worth keeping an eye on for future.

    Possibly as Saudi isn't a playable league his 'plans' aren't picked up by the engine until it happens?
