A neat trick of generating a 'Dates' entry without a manual or fixture list date:
1) Add a new blank entry
2) On the new entry, Do NOT click on the small tick in the left-hand side column below "date"
3) Click instead into one of the numeric entry fields for day, month or year in the manual box
4) In the big menu below "Row X selected", set the tick mark at "Fixture Date"
5) Enjoy your completely void Entry which contains nothing and cannot be changed!
Also after one chooses to select the row with the small tick (not following point 2), in the large "Row x selected" menu below, when either "Date" or "Fixture Date" is selected, it cannot be unselected anymore and the row is in that particular state forever. As the row can be deleted, it is not a huge issue, but I have struggled with the program reading in Fixture Dates from this list and others when specified, and I would not be surprised if the UI issue is connected to something more "mechanical" underneath.
