  • Martinez underpowered V Onana overpowered

    Please could you review Emi Martinez's stats? How can he be rated lower than Onana? Big Man United bias at SI as usual? Martinez is a world cup winning goal keeper and recognised by Fifa as the best keeper in the world. 

    Attributes too low compared with Onana:

    - Communcation, one on ones, bravery, composure, CONCENTRATION (did you not see the save in the world cup final in the last minute?), DETERMINATION lower than Onana?? Ridiculous, leadership 13? too low. 

     

    How you can rate Onana higher when he has done nothing in his career is ridiculous, especially when you consider his start at United?

     

    Please stop overpowering players at big teams when they are average.

    Hi @trickyrikki - Onana's CA has actually decreased since he was moved from Inter (where he was excellent in a team that made the CL Final last season) to United in the database. Always helpful to check facts like that before wheeling out claums of bias.

    If you think Martinez is underrated then do go ahead and make that argument, but preferably in detail and with more evidence than 'he won the World Cup'.

    tbf, although I think Martinez could do with a buff his CA is better than Onanas'. 78 vs 77. I've laid out a better argument for a Martinez buff in the Premier League Data thread.
