  • Manager position staying vacant for extremely long period of time

    Hello,

     

    The issue is Doncaster (I am a manager of another team, and did not apply for this job) sacked their manager on 20 May 2025. It is now 31 October 2025 and the position is still advertised on the job security screen, and they do not have an interim or caretaker manager listed.

    Hi, in the save you provided they actually are in talks with Wayne Rooney and go on to appoint him a few days later.

    We'd need a save from around the time the manager was sacked in May to see why it took so long to approach and appoint a new one, thank you.
