  • Board doesn't want to upgrade facilities citing not in need of reputation growth, but reputation growth is a club vision

    In my save, the board has a club vision to grow the reputation of the club. However they refuse to upgrade training facilities to help boost club reputation.

    To reproduce this, follow these steps:

     

    1. Ask board to upgrade training facilities

    2. When board declines, discuss with board and provide response for "growing club's reputation"

    3. Board declines stating that they don't see the need to grow the clubs reputation any further 

     

    This is with the understanding that 'grow club reputation' is a part of the club vision, it would seem that either that the response option for upgrading training facility to boost rep is *not* a possible option, or, the board needs to agree to upgrade. 

     

    Please help me understand how this situation exists given the in-game circumstances, thank you.

    Following up on this again with two more data points;

    I think at the time in this save file, I have roughly $40M in cash. I moved forward in the save file by two weeks, and asked the board to buy the stadium, they agreed.
