  • PK taker kicked the ball again after hitting the post from the penalty kick

    Hello,

    When a penalty hits the post, you cannot touch the ball again if it has not touched any other player. However if your teammate scores from the penalty rebounding off the post, the goal will be valid.

     

    So, I am managing Leicester and had a penalty kick, where my PK taker hit the post and the ball came to him where he kicked the ball again in the goal. According to football rules, he can't touch the ball again after hitting the post.

    I put the match game, and I am not quite sure if the GK touched the ball from the kick or not. If he didn't, this goal shouldn't be allowed.

    Watched this back and while it isn't too clear from the angle, keeper did get a touch - the rule is definitely implemented in game and working as it should. Thanks for checking. :)
