stuart60677
This is probably the 100000000000000000th post on Steam (if it was easy to use, there wouldn't have been one). SI, you should never, ever have agreed to have anything to do with this organisation. But whats done is done. Is there anyway, after having downloaded the game through steam, to now play the game without steam. Can NO-ONE reply with 'right click add shortcut to desktop' because that DOESN'T WORK you still have to use the devil that is steam.

Johnny van Axeldongen
When people talk about creating a shortcut by 'right click add shortcut to desktop' they're not talking about doing it in Steam. What they mean is for you to navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2009\ and create a shortcut by right-clicking on the fm.exe file and choosing 'Send to>Desktop'. Mike7077
STEAM works fine. Personally, I'm chuffed at being able to update the game automatically. It wasn't STEAM that caused all the problems, it was Uniloc.

Or, just double left click the FM.exe and load it up.
