jcricky Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Hello everyone, this, as you can tell by the title is my attempt at the same challenge Makoto Nakamura is writing about in his own thread. The objective is simple, win everything, every league and cup title in the world. However in an attempt to completely ruin my social life(yes it was non-existent anyway) I will be using the Best 109 leagues in the world making the challenge even harder, if it wasn't hard enough already. There will be three leagues enabled at a time and to begin with it will be Albania, Algeria and Angola. So, I started off unemployed, with a Sunday League Reputation and no coaching badges and after numerous job interviews in Albania I have finally got a job, and surprisingly they're one of the better sides, with the larger budget:D. This team is KS Besëlidhja Lezhë, in the Albanian Second Division, with a predicted finish of 3rd. A club formed in 1930 and were in the Albanian Superleague as recently as the 2007/08 season. jcricky Posted February 24, 2016 Author Share Posted February 24, 2016 Pre-Season and Signings Mixed pre-season against a mixed bag of opponents, however going into the new season I am confident, especially seen as the last 2 results were both wins, which included some new signings. Transfers out, nothing too interesting, was just shifting out some deadwood at the club. Now a lot of transfers in, some main players and a couple of back ups. At the start of the season the board gave me a budget of £50,000 which I only spent £14,700 of meaning I have some funds for January if needed. The best transfer by far has to be Moctar Fall, the Senegalese central midfield who I hope will be a driving force in the side. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
jcricky Posted February 25, 2016 Author Share Posted February 25, 2016 Winter Break Update My apologies, I got caught up in the game and forgot to do a monthly update, so a mid-season break update will have to do. So how’s it going? Very well at this moment in time. A strong start was followed by a rocky patch of form, however our strong start meant that we remained on target for our goals this season which is to win the league title.Despite our league successes so far we were knocked out of the cup at the first hurdle which is not what I wanted to see.Our top performer this year has been(as predicted) Moctar Fall which shows why we are paying him so much per week, playing as the Box-to-box midfielder he contributes to all phases of play. jcricky Posted February 25, 2016 Author Share Posted February 25, 2016 Winter Break and Transfers To begin with, the board came to me and asked if I wanted to change the season’s objectives, however I did not see the point in doing so and have therefore remained with the same budget.After a decent first half of the season I decided that I needed to improve the squad slightly, I targeted a new Centre back as my main area of improvement. There are no other positions I feel we need to improve, however I will be actively looking for any players that are loan/transfer listed or unattached.After looking at a couple of players I decided against adding too many more players to the squad, with just one new arrival in the form of Ivan Fustar. Just what we needed, a new centre back. The Croatian will be our first choice centre back for at least the rest of this year and for a price so cheap(£5,000) I can’t really ask for much better.Not much to talk about on the matches front, we played three matches in the break, which I wasn’t too bothered about the result. The games were just a case of keeping match fitness up which was achieved, as we go into February with a very fit squad. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

jcricky Posted February 25, 2016 Author Share Posted February 25, 2016 March and April Update Before we get into any of results in this update lets focus on the big news which is that we were offered a new deal, which will see me here until at least the end of next season(if we don’t get a better job in the summer.) But it’s good to see that the board are supporting me.Now onto the results, we played five games in these two months and all in all I am bitterly disappointed. 2 wins, a draw and 2 losses could have been so much more. Despite what I see as a poor run of results we have managed to stay top of the league, the gap has shortened however to 1 point and with only 3 games remaining we’re looking at a very nervy finale to the league.Finally thought I’d show you the first Youth intake on the save, absolutely dreadful and nobody worth talking about which is a bit disappointing, hopefully the next one is better. After the previous update it was incredibly tight at the top of the league. However upon looking at our final three fixtures I realised that we had the easiest run in, so I was confident.Undefeated in the last three games, solid end to the season, I was hoping to win all three games as the three sides were lower league sides. However a draw against Ada wasn’t the worst result as we have struggled to beat them this year.It was enough though, and after the final game of the year the league was sealed, a great way to start my career with a league title.
