Help needed from someone else's POV

Hey guys, Im playing as wolfsburg; in my first season i didnt have much luck with tactics so towards the end of the season i came up with a system, my 4-3-2-1, i won 8 games in a row and drew 2 and saved my job, everything was working mint, so i just started my second season, made some transfers and sold some players nothing too big, i brought in 2 starting 11 players to fit my style of game, i am now getting punished 5-0 and 6-0 and losing to teams i shouldnt be, my players are finding it hard to string a pass to one another and i dont understand, im not whinging i just want to fix this asap and any help would be muchly appreciated. There is a few things i have thought about that could be the problem or ways i could fix;

Training- Ball control and or team cohesion/teamwork

Maybe my players need to gel together (string passes together etc.)

If it is just a slump of form i know i can get my team out of it

I really dont think its my tactics which is why i need help

Btw if you are losing 5 or 6 nil then it is tactically.
