Tonton Zola Moukoko
... I'm not very happy. 9 years in charge. 6 League titles. 2 Champions Leagues. 5 Dutch Super Cups. 4 Dutch Cups. 2 Club World Championships. 1 European Super Cup. And then you you lay this s**t on me...
dafuge
If you talk to the board then there's an option to discuss it. Or is that FM13?
Tonton Zola Moukoko
Football Manager 2012, I appreciate I may be behind the times, but this is still upsetting.
dafuge
In that case there's nothing you can do, apart from maybe resign.
ozzyoscy
Risky option: offer the player a new contract, the better the... better. He might accept the contract rather than the bid, at least that's how it used to be. Unrealistic option: Add a new manager to take over at Lyon, cancel the bid, then resign. It's a toss-up between screwing up the managerial merry-go-round forever by ridding Lyon of their manager for no reason (and any new manager if they bid again) or living with the idea that a Champions League winning side snatch at a small bid. Imagination option: Reason that the chairman really doesn't like the player and has taken the first opportunity to get rid of him for whatever reason, maybe he dated his daughter.
