brawler Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 I understand that some people have been having problems and SI have stated that you shouldnt run antivirus software while the game is running. First question. Is it safe to run a virus scan which includes FM folders etc when the game is NOT running? (i.e no temprorary files will get deleted or changed etc.). I havent found any information on any of the forums saying this is ok to do. Secondly, has anyone had any problems with their game after doing a virus scan with the game NOT running at the same time? When you close FM, all the information is saved in your saved game file and the .tmp files that keep temporary information aren't needed anymore so they are deleted by the game.
