FM2014 generated/fake players

hello,

Does anybody know if it is possible to use generated players in the classic mode of this game?

I've looked online and can't seem to find a definitive answer though my search terms may be incorrect.

When you start a new game there is a check box for

but there is a command you can use the generate fake players in your db for clubs (not free agents) using a lnc file

like # fake players - Albirex Niigata (Singapore)

I have a file that randomizes most teams but it takes almost 20 to 30 minutes for the game to generate the initial save file

Have you uploaded that file somewhere? I haven't actually got the game yet and haven't tinkered with editors in the past but aren't afraid of coding. Does a line have to be added for literally every single club :|

football manager 14 > data > db > 1400 > lnc

folder

After the initial file is generated you may want to remove lnc file from the database folder so that fm doesnt take 20 minutes to load up when you restart next time

I don't have a 1400 folder? Do I need to create one or install the megapakc first?

found it!

loaded a quick game with just england loaded in and it seemed to be okay - trying it now with a ridiculous 40 odd nation 125k players game! Will report back.

Seems to be spot on - loaded a large database with about 80 odd leagues from 30 nations (I think) and if there are any real players left in the game then I wouldn't have a clue who they are.

It should randomize about 14000 clubs so the coverage is fairly wide

Just fyi, the national teams seem to have the same coaches names.

Note that this will only randomise the player names (same as the "user real / fake players" option in the new game screen). The actual attributes and histories will be taken from real players, and it's trivial to match them to the original people.
