mackemforever
In my first season I took over Ivory Coast in March. I then won the World Cup with them (was outplayed horibly in the quarters, semi and final but managed to grab lucky 1-0 wins in each game). After the final I was a bit surprised to see this. So after 1 competition and only 6 games I am easily the most successful manager ever in Africa. Just thought it was a bit odd that nobody managing anywhere in Africa has ever had any real success. dontask
yes no african nation has ever won the world cup. so whoever manages the first african team to do so will be the most successful manager to manage in the continent.

No African team has ever even managed to reach the World Cup semis, so any manager winning the world cup with an African team will and should be the number 1 for Africa right away. With all due respect, that would count more than winning the ACN three times (which someone may or may not have achieved already irl)
