Wanster
They are the best youngsters in my youth setup. Based on their stats, what preferred move(s) should I teach? Thanks a lot.
Neopherus
I'd try teaching number 2 and 4 to stay on their feet in tackles. Number 3 has the pace to beat offsidetraps, but needs a little more anticipation and off the ball.. Maybe tutor them first?
Wanster
Hmm yeah. What sort of players should tutor them?
Neopherus
Basicly someone with simmilar personalities as them. Also more determination and a lot more of the mental skills you want them to adapt. The more simmilar they are, the better. Edit: simmilar as in personality. (professional, determined, ambisious etc) another edit: The pacey striker could also learn to round the keeper. Really helped on my game
Wanster
Much thanks man. Bradley has good mentals should John Terry tutor him then I ask him to learn to dive into tackles?
Neopherus
(NOT dive into tackles ) Terry would probably be a good tutor. If he has a determination stat of above 18 I'd throw them together at once. Maybe even state that Terry could be "the perfect rolemodel". I was actually talking about tutoring the striker, though
Wanster
Haha yeah I noticed. How can I increase Philips anticipation and off the ball?
Neopherus
Tutoring and age should be a good combo. He will pick up eventually
Wanster
Thanks. Here are some 3-star potential youngsters. Any recommendations?
Neopherus
Not alot to work with here, but I'll do my best. Maybe "Run down right side", for Arnold, "Place shots" for Shirley and "Power in freekicks" for Stone? Also, looking at Stone's fouls, maybe stay on feet when tackling, would be a good idea? These are not "absolutes", so don't yell at me if it doesn't turn them into superstars, ok?
Wanster
Don't worry mate it's fine. I'm not expecting them to turn to superstars lol. Anyway, Philips rejected to learn the move. What can I do?
Neopherus
Just accept it, I guess.. I have never been successfull at convincing a player to learning a rejected move Maybe a tutor can teach him to like it? Just get a tutor who knows it, and he may pick it up eventually. Wanster
Hmm, I don't think anyone in my squad has places shots and round the keeper. Perhaps I should buy a striker that has those just for tutoring? hehe.
phnompenhandy
You can now ask the player to learn the PPM regardless of whether anyone in your squad has it. It's separate to tutoring. Secondly, tutoring only affects the mental attributes which are hidden + determination. With anticipation and the likes that comes from age and training. Wanster
Yeah I've tried that but he doesn't want to.
