need help with football manager 2009 on mac

wondering if anyone could help me. I just bought a mac and wanted to put my football manager 09 on it i installed the game which loaded up fine but then downloaded the patch for the mac and since then when i try to start up the game it doesn't work instead i get this:

The application Football manager 2009 v 9 . 2 . 0 f 30303 quit unexpectedley.

Mac OS X and othe rapplications are not affected.

Click relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

I then can choose 3 options Ignore, Report or Relaunch which ever i click on the game still doesn't run, any help would be much appreciated.

I had this last year, your best bet would be to uninstall and reinstall the game and patch (redownload patch aswell)

Its a bit of a pain but the only way
