Hubert Cumberdale
Bear with me on this one. FM09 works fine on my PC (don't know all the specs but everything is running fine, 3D, etc). Decided to get a laptop so I can play it on the move (so to speak), and after careful deliberation went for this one due to the price more than anything (got it for £275), and the fact it has quite powerful specs: http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1418398936.1230752185@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccciadegdjllidicflgceggdhhmdfoj.0&category_oid=-31797&sku=075885&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null I have since discovered that the graphics card in it is an SiS672 integrated chip. Which is described by the experts as offering "minimal performance". Anyone know whether the 3D match engine will run on this laptop as I remember SiS being one of the graphics cards that people had problems with at the start? Also if the 3D doesn't run can I still view the match highlights in classic 2D? I've already bloody ordered it and can't cancel so please tell me it'll still work! Thanks in advance guys. baker.simon
I would suggest that under consumer rights you can cancel your order.
Hubert Cumberdale
Kind of hoping for more of a yes/no style answer there but thanks anyway. Anyone else?
Wee Aja
The specs on that seem better than on my current Dell Inspiron, and I can watch 3D here. It's a bit jerky but I CAN watch it if I want.
Hubert Cumberdale
Thanks mate. Don't really want to go through the hassle of canceling so as long as the graphics card will run 2D at the very least then I'm happy enough.
Clark123
The requirements to play on 3D are Vista - 2.0 GHz XP - 1.4 GHz so it depends what Windows you have. Edit: 2D should be easily fine.
