Grimoz Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Hi guys, im just wondering if you think that having more fans at the games has an effect on how your team plays during home games. I personally have a great home record with my team St Albans in the Blue Sqaure South League and we usually have a poor attendance of a couple of hundred people if we are lucky. I was just wondering if that number increased to 1000 or more would it give my players a huge boost or are fan numbers not important other than for financial reasons. I also think it's a bit daft in lower league away fixtures urging your team in the pre-match pep-talk to do it for the fans when they constitute the goalie's mum and her dog!
