Just formatted and reinstalled and now I don't have my serial number. I format every now and then so I wanted to make sure. It says on the activation screen I can buy a new serial from sigames.com. Would that be cheaper than buying it through steam? And how would I go about buying a new serial? I haven't seen any option on the site. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
pyewackett Posted December 23, 2008 Share Posted December 23, 2008 What a coincidence, I am doing the same thing here, well I think I am. Had XP just quite litterally (Minutes ago). I have just installed Vista over the same machine, so guess I have formatted looks that way though I have just run through the process to install the game, I was prompted to log into my steam account. Then it installed it from the CD. I basically followed the default options. Steam installed before then the game, on the Steam client its upgrading FM it would appear like Steam did on my XP machine for the recent patch. Did you do it differently?
